Mission-led ground robotics

UGV Missions

Six mission areas where ground robots can reduce hazardous physical exposure while people remain in command.

A useful UGV starts with a task, an operator and a measurable acceptance criterion. HARDY develops a family of platforms around connected mission roles rather than a single isolated demonstration.

Strike missions

Remote fire engagement, breaching and one-way assault roles.

Logistics

Move supplies without adding human exposure.

ISR

Extend sensing into hazardous environments.

Recovery

Robots should be able to help recover robots.

A RESULT THE SYSTEM CAN SEE

More completed missions. Fewer hazardous human runs.

Ukraine’s publicly stated direction is to scale ground robotics across logistics, evacuation, reconnaissance and other missions. HARDY turns that priority into a concrete product, a trained crew and an outcome that a unit can record within its authorised reporting environment.

What we measure with the unit

01 / MISSION

Tasks completed

Completed logistics, evacuation, ISR, route and recovery missions in a defined configuration.

02 / OUTCOME

Delivered and recovered

Payload moved, route completion, people evacuated or equipment recovered, depending on the mission.

03 / TIME

Mission cycle

Preparation, deployment, execution, return and restoration of readiness for the next task.

04 / PEOPLE

Hazardous runs avoided

Physical work accepted by the machine instead of personnel entering the hazardous area.

05 / READINESS

Platform returned to service

Recovery, repair, module replacement and time to restore an operational configuration.

06 / CAPABILITY

Crew prepared

Operators and technicians who complete role-based training and repeat the mission cycle.

From task to demonstrated effect

01

Establish the baseline

Scenario, route, human runs, time, payload and the success criterion before UGV deployment.

02

Run the pilot

A known platform configuration, trained crew, repeatable route and structured mission record.

03

Scale the outcome

Compare the cycle, validate the effect and define the platform + control + energy + training package for repeat use.

PUBLIC OPERATIONAL CONTEXT

DELTA and Mission Control turn missions into decision data.

According to Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, Mission Control covers reconnaissance, strike, mining, logistics and evacuation, while UGV missions in DELTA can be planned, reported and verified. From January to early June 2026, ground robots completed more than 50,000 logistics and evacuation missions, while the number of user units rose to 230.
