The material must fit the mission

Mission Economics & Materials

An engineered plywood-based layered composite is a deliberate choice for repairability, scalable production and rational mission cost.

Based on the operational statistics HARDY uses as a design premise, the average battlefield lifecycle of a ground platform is 3–5 missions. Actual service life depends on the task, conditions and damage. This is not a warranty or a universal industry benchmark.

We do not make the robot cheap

We remove cost that does not improve mission success.

Repairability

Simpler part replacement and restoration using accessible processes.

Scalable production

Locally available material and less dependence on scarce manufacturing capacity.

Functional budget

More resources can go to drive, energy, communications, sensors and payloads.

We do not claim ballistic, fire, water or other special resistance without documented testing.
