Modular UGV Architecture

Modularity works only when interfaces, versions and acceptance criteria are documented.

A modular UGV architecture allows payload or subsystem change without redesigning the entire platform. Real modularity requires an interface control document, not unused deck space alone.

Mission context

A new module changes mass, balance, power, electromagnetic conditions, data and software states. Without defined boundaries each integration becomes another prototype.

Engineering approach

HARDY separates base platform, payload and operator equipment while documenting mounting, power, protection, data and versions.

What must be demonstrated

Modularity is demonstrated by the speed and quality of repeat integration.

  • ICD and compatible version control;
  • mechanical, power and data integration test;
  • repeatable module replacement without hidden rework.

Limits and responsible claims

Interface compatibility does not automatically establish safety or certification of the complete configuration. Every payload requires acceptance.

Next step

Provide the interface requirements for your module.
